Spyro the Dragon has been our favorite platform game ever since we were little kids, and since then we have been waiting patiently for the game to come back to us again.
There have been some references to the little purple dragon, mainly coming from SpyroUniverse on Twitter.
The account tweeted some images that might give us some hints about the future of Spyro, in which the dragon can be seen underneath some cars in a seemingly Crash Bandicoot 4 concept art.
At first, we dismissed these pictures as irrelevant, but after Brun Croes confirming it through quotes we could not but think, will Spyro the Dragon surprise us soon? The last time we heard anything about this character was back in 2018 through the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, but that was it.
Besides the images, other leaks are connected to Spyro the Dragon, and they are the following.
Spyro 4: Wings of Fury Leaks
- A game named Spyro 4: Wings of Fury will be announced at the upcoming SGF. It will have Unreal Engine 4 and will continue from YotD. Cynder will not be playable, while Hunter, Bianca, and Moneybags will come to the game.
- A friendship that was never an option actually happened, and that is a friendship between Skylanders and Eruptor. We will have a new villain, and that is a character named Hydra Dragon.
- We will have minor RPGs such as wing and tail attacks, breaths that resemble ice, electricity, earth, wind, and water. All of these can be used to solve puzzles that the game will give us.
- The supposed release date is some time in November 2021, and it will be released to PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Please have in mind that nothing is official, and take this with a grain of salt.
