Trainers, the Astral Eclipse event is underway and two new Pokemon, Solgaleo and Lunala, are now available in Pokemon Go. To get one, you must evolve Cosmoem, but it seems like some players are not able to evolve Cosmoem into Solgaleo, or Lunala.
Solgaleo and Lunala are two new Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Go. These Pokemon don’t spawn in the wild, they are not hatching from Eggs or spawning as Raid Bosses, and the only way to get one is via evolution and using 100 Cosmog candy. Now, there are two steps that one must follow to get Solgaleo or Lunala, and trust me, it’s not that complicated.
Now, here is what you have to do to get Solgaleo.
How to Get Solgaleo in Pokemon Go?
- Get a Cosmog
- Use 25 Cosmog Candy to evolve Cosmog into Cosmoem
- After evolving into Cosmoem, you can use 100 Cosmog Candy to evolve into Solgaleo
- Note: This is a daily evolution, which means that you must evolve Cosmoem during the day to get Solgaleo
And here is how to get Lunala.
How to Get Lunala in Pokemon Go?
- Get a Cosmog
- Use 25 Cosmog Candy to evolve Cosmog into Cosmoem
- After evolving into Cosmoem, you can use 100 Cosmog Candy to evolve into Lunala
- Note: This is a night evolution, which means that you must evolve Cosmoem during the night to get Lunala
Now, let’s get back to the topic and try to find a fix for this issue. The following might not work for everyone, but we recommend trying it. If you have enough Candy and you can’t evolve Cosmoem, and you don’t see the evolve button, then try to restart the app and try to evolve Cosmoem again. If this doesn’t work, some reports say that a second restart may fix the issue.
Do you have this issue and can’t evolve Cosmoem? Did our tip help? If not, how did you fix it? We would like to hear more, so please leave a comment below.
