Trainers, Mega Gengar is now appearing in Mega Raids, and if you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Mega Gengar.
Mega Gengar is the new Mega Raid Boss in Pokemon Go and you will have a chance to battle and catch Mega Gengar and Shiny Mega Gengar until July 31, 2022.
Mega Gengar is weak to Ghost, Psychic, Ground, and Dark types. It takes two or three Trainers to beat it, but you must use the best counters and right moves.
Mega Gengar Raid Counters Pokemon Go
- Mewtwo with Psycho Cut and Psystrike
- Origin Giratina with Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball
- Hydreigon with Bite and Brutal Swing
- Metagross with Zen Headbutt and Psychic
- Unbound Hoopa with Confusion and Psychic
As said above, it should take two or three Pokemon Go players to beat Mega Gengar, but if you want to try to beat it solo, we have something special for you.
