The scariest and most troublesome character in the Pokemon Go universe is the Team Go Rocket Boss Giovanni. Giovanni wants to take over our peaceful Pokemon Go world again, using different Shadow Pokemon.
The whole Team Go Rocket is doing it again and can be seen more frequently in Pokemon Go. If you think that the Team Go Rocket Leaders are hard to defeat, wait till you get to Giovanni, the Team Go Rocket Boss. Giovanni is the toughest, the hardest one to beat, and trust me, Giovanni is a real pain in the neck. However, if you have a rock-solid Pokemon team, the best counters, and moves, you can beat Giovanni easily.
To encounter Team Go Rocket’s boss Giovanni, you’ll first need to complete Special Research tasks, which involve defeating Grunts, defeating Leaders, and completing other Team Go Rocket-related objectives.
Here is Giovanni’s June 2022 Pokemon Shadow Pokemon lineup and our opinions on which Pokemon (and its best moveset) you could use to beat him.
